Record quantity of corn is harvested in Békés county
A record volume of corn is harvested Békés county. The average yield per hectare is expected to exceed 7 tons – the Secretary of the Békés county Agricultural Association informed MTI.
Barabás Béla stressed that from the weaker fields of northern Békés county, the farmers harvest 7.0-7.5, tons of maize per hectare of while in the southern district of Békés, the average yield is 10-12 tons per hectare. (MTI)
