Record traffic expected at MPL parcel machines, Christmas orders should be placed by December 12

According to the forecast of Magyar Posta, the highest parcel traffic is expected in the weeks leading up to Christmas, with the peak this week, therefore the company draws attention to the fact that it is worth placing orders from domestic webshops by December 12.

In its statement sent to MTI on Monday, Magyar Posta highlights that parcels sent to the post office domestically by December 19 may arrive at the recipients by Christmas.

They announced that traditionally the 47-51. The period between the weeks of 11 and 12 is the busiest, with the 50th week before Christmas typically standing out.

The popularity of MPL parcel machines is well demonstrated by the fact that nearly 30 percent more parcels were ordered here in the first 11 months of this year, and in November the number of parcels exceeded that of December last year, meaning that the post office handled the most parcels ever in its parcel machines.

The post office’s parcel machine network provides flexible, 24-hour collection options, and delivery drivers visit twice on working days. Magyar Posta currently has 700 MPL parcel machines and more than 3,000 postal points (post offices, Mol gas stations, Coop stores and postal partners) at the disposal of customers who choose this solution, they announced.
