Record turnover at the Poli-Farbe paint factory
The paints market shrank further in Hungary in 2013. Despite the unfavorable markets trends, the Poli-Farbe Vegyipari Kft. was managed to increase its turnover by 10 percent, and realized a more than 8 billion HUF turnover.
Hungarians spent on wall coating, varnish and enamel in 2013 about the same amount as fifteen years ago. In 2013, the 23 billion HUF paint market shrank further. Two-thirds of the turnover of the sector is provided by three big companies. Among them Poli-Farbe is the last domestically owned manufacturing company. The Bócs-based company reached a turnover of 8.051 billion HUF in the 2013 business year, compared to the 7.334 billion HUF of 2012. The export activity was about 8 percent of the total turnover.
