Praktiker achieved record sales last year

Praktiker achieved record sales in 2019, with the DIY store chain closing 2019 with net sales of 67.88 billion HUF, which is about 18 percent more than the previous year’s 57.1 billion HUF – the company told MTI on Monday.

The company’s operating profit increased to 3.644 billion HUF from 3.159 billion HUF in 2018.

According to the announcement, since its entry into the domestic market in 1998, 2019 was the most successful business year for Praktiker, which is the second largest player in the DIY market with an estimated market share of 190 billion HUF. (MTI)
