Tourism in Austria closed a record year
The number of guest nights and number of guests broke a recort in 2012 in Austria – the Austrian statistical office announced on Friday.
The number of guest nights at Austrian accomodations increased by four percent compared to 2011, increasing up to 131 million. It's more than in 1992, which was the record year. The hotel guests exceeded 36 million in 2012 and surpassing the 2011 datas, which were the best until now. (MTI)
