2019 was a record year for in Budapest’s spas
Baths and beaches operated by Budapest the Budapest Gyógyfürdői (BGYH) Zrt. were visited by more than 5 million guests in 2019, which is an increase of nearly 13 percent, compared to the previous year, BGYH told MTI on Friday.
According to the communication, the excellent results are mainly due to the continuous development of the baths and the ever increasing tourist traffic of Budapest. Compared to 2010, guest traffic increased by 72 percent.
They emphasize that the company’s expected revenue in 2019 will exceed 18.3 billion HUF, an increase of 20 percent, compared to the previous year. (MTI)
