The Baki Agrocentrum Kft. reached record revenue last year
Zala county's largest agricultural company, the Baki Agrocentrum Kft. reached a record of 9.3 billion HUF revenue last year – told the company's managing director to MTI.
Balogh Rudolf explained that the 8.5 billion HUF revenue of 2010 could be increased significantly over the past year, thanks 100 thousand tons shipments of grain were transported to Italy, Slovenia, Austria and to the main sea ports.
According to Balogh Rudolf, this year's outlooks in the agricultural sector are less favorable than last year’s. The effects of, last year's drought can be still felt in production. Due to last year’s drought reduced the yields and a roughly 10 percent drop occurred in the sales prices of crops. (MTI)
