Record passenger traffic at the Liszt Ferenc airport in August
After the record of July, in August a record passenger traffic occured again at the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. More than 1.5 million passengers used the Ferihegy Airport in the last month of the summer.
According to the CAPA aviation knowledge center, on Monday, 1 million 527,000 passengers were registered in Budapest, 12,000 more than in July, creating a new absolute record: the Ferihegy Airport has never treated so many passengers within a month. Compared to a year earlier, the total number of arrivals and departures increased by 14.9 percent. (MTI)
