Advertising Association: the money spent on advertising is spinning the economy
Every 10 HUF spent on advertising increases the performance of the Hungarian economy with 47 HUF – Hivatal Péter, Vice-President of the Hungarian Advertising Association said on Monday in Budapest at a press conference.
Hivatal Péter told that the amount spent on advertising was 174 billion last year, which – generated HUF 820 billion for the Hungarian economy.
The Hungarian Advertising Association entrusted the PwC Magyarország consulting firm to examine the impact of the communications industry on the economic performance. The research, called “The Economic Effects of Advertising” showed that the advertising and advertising industry have driving force in the strengthening of the economy. (MTI)
