Hungarians make food purchases influenced by commercials
Influenced by a product- or brand advertisement, seven out of ten Hungarians have brought some sort of food in the past 12 months, wheras four of them have opted for cosmetics or health-related products or hair- body lotions. These numbers are roughly in accordance with European tendencies – Nielsen market research group has pointed out.
Here is the list of other product groups Hungrians tend to purchase influenced by commercials: clothing, electronic devices, personal electronic devices (such as an iPod or mobile phone), bank or insurance services.
The most efficient way to place advertisements is television, 76 percent those who took part in the survey made a purchase after having seen a TV-commercial. In the second place, 56 percent goes to print newspapers and products. The list goes on as: posters (45), radio commercial (45), online video commercial (10). Online banners on websites or mobile phone commercials rarely make anybody make a purchase on the other hand.
