The Hungarian Maltese Charity Service collects personalized Christmas gifts for children in need
The Hungarian Maltese Charity Service will fulfill the personal wishes of children living in the poorest small settlements this Christmas. The charitable organization collected the children’s requests in 89 disadvantaged settlements, and is looking for supporters to put together 2,000 personalized gift boxes.
The staff of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service are organizing the Be a Star-Spreader! collection for the fourth time. The special feature of the campaign is that the personalized boxes, prepared for children living in the poorest settlements of the country, will contain the wishes of the recipients.
The staff of the Charity Service are in contact with the families of children with difficult fates in 89 disadvantaged settlements. In these remote, forgotten settlements, however, Christmas is usually no different from everyday life… The charitable organization aims to bring the holiday to places where Christmas is really small this year during Advent, so in recent weeks they have collected the secret wishes of 2,000 children with difficult fates through many conversations, drawings, and careful questioning. The list of wishes has already been compiled, and the Charity Service is looking for those who will undertake to fulfill one of their wishes. Companies, groups of friends, school communities, and private individuals are welcome to apply. Kind-hearted donors who are able to rummage through the bottom shelf of a store for the last “blue belt karate doll”, who know the “set of a thousand colored pencils” and who know that “horses with a flag mane” are the most beautiful on a puzzle.
The collection of Christmas gifts will last until December 12, and then the boxes will set off to arrive everywhere on time.
