Prestigious recognition in record time: Gault&Millau awarded La Vie gourmet restaurant with two chef’s toques

Just three and a half months after opening in May, Le Primore Hotel & Spa’s gourmet restaurant, La Vie, has already won a prestigious award. In the latest Gault&Millau Hungary evaluation, the restaurant received 14 points and two chef’s hats (Toques) in the “High-quality, unique cuisine” category.

The evaluations of the French-origin Gault&Millau are conducted completely incognito: the inspectors visit the places anonymously, at their own expense, and then score the restaurants based on a strict system of criteria. The most important criterion is the quality of the food, but they also take into account the originality of the ingredients, the presentation, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the level of service and the price-value ratio.

La Vie has also attracted attention by inviting a renowned guest chef every month, with whom executive chef Attila Borda and his team create a four- or seven-course menu together. These dishes will first be presented at the Chef’s Table evenings, and then be available on the menu for a month. This concept constantly updates the restaurant’s offer and gives new impulses to the kitchen.
