‘Most attractive employer – FMCG category’ – Nestlé
– This award is a great honour for us, a recognition of the company’s corporate culture and prestige established by its workers – told Mike Nixon, managing director of Nestlé Hungária Kft. Nestlé employs more than 2,000 people in Hungary and realised investments in the value of HUF 70 billion throughout the years. They try to create a work environment where managers inspire workers and individuals feel that they contribute to the success of the team. They support giving feedback and encourage thinking out of the box. Nestlé believes that long term business success is only possible if not only the interest of shareholders, but also those of society are given priority. Creating Shared Value is their credo, focusing on the fields of nutrition, rural development and water use. Recently the company relaunched the ‘Nestlé Youth Employment Initiative’ as well, nurturing young people’s careers.
