AutoWallis has switched on in 2025: sales have picked up in all business lines in recent months
All segments of the AutoWallis Group closed the last quarter of last year very strongly, so vehicle sales, as well as service and mobility services, set a record in 2025. AutoWallis’ vehicle sales increased significantly, by almost 12 percent, to over 54 thousand units last year: the expansion was primarily driven by the Retail Business Unit with an increase of over 20 percent, while the sales of the Wholesale Business Unit exceeded the value of the previous year by almost 7 percent. The impressive sales results of the region’s leading integrated car dealership and mobility service provider were supported by both acquisitions closed in 2024 and organic growth.
The Wholesale and Retail Business of the AutoWallis Group also achieved a record fourth-quarter performance in vehicle sales, which also represents another annual record for the company listed in the Premium category of the Budapest Stock Exchange. In 2025, AutoWallis sold 54,046 vehicles, 11.7 percent more than the previous year, significantly exceeding the performance of the previous quarters of the year. The impressive sales results of the region’s leading integrated car dealership and mobility service provider were supported by both acquisitions closed in 2024 and organic growth. In the last three months of the year, AutoWallis’ Wholesale Business also increased its pace, which, after the more subdued performance of previous quarters, made greater progress primarily thanks to the Opel brand. The Wholesale Business sold 10,748 vehicles in the last quarter of last year, 1,797 more than in the same period of the previous year, and 2,476 more (+6.8%) year-on-year than in 2024. This is especially favorable in light of the fact that wholesale sales were still 3.7 percent lower in the first half of the year. The growth was primarily due to Opel’s excellent performance, which was particularly strong in the Croatian market (+2,108 units for the entire Opel, of which +2,487 units in the Croatian market). In addition, the launch of Nissan’s Romanian operation also contributed significantly (+843 units) to the result. However, the performance of the business was negatively affected by the decline in sales of the KGM brand (-883 units).
The driver of sales growth in 2025 was the AutoWallis Retail Business Unit, which increased new vehicle sales by 20.8 percent to 11,637 units, and used car sales by 46.4 percent to 3,737 units. The growth of the business was primarily supported by the Czech acquisitions closed in 2024 – the three BMW dealerships of NC Auto (Stratos) and the acquisition of Milan Král Group – as well as the Budapest dealership opened in the fall of 2024, and to a lesser extent, the Debrecen dealerships opened in the last quarter of 2025 (together +2,046 units). The number of service hours increased by 41.3 percent to 310,146 hours in 2025, driven by acquisitions and services related to new dealerships.
At AutoWallis’ Mobility Services Business Unit, listed in the Premium category of the Budapest Stock Exchange (which includes the Group’s short- and long-term car rental and fleet management), the number of rental events increased by 6.4 percent to over 400,000 (400,218), while the number of rental days increased by 18.2 percent to 239,654. The average fleet size of the AutoWallis Group increased by 5.4 percent to 4,037 units in 2025.
Gábor Ormosy, CEO of AutoWallis, said regarding the sales data for the fourth quarter and the full year 2025: The sales performance of AutoWallis, which already represents 30 brands in 17 countries in the region, in 2025 was significantly supported by organic growth, acquisitions closed in 2024 and last year’s business developments. In the past two years, several brands represented in the wholesale sector have performed mixedly, of which Opel’s temporary decline, then its upturn at the end of last year, and KGM’s decline last year can be highlighted. The 12 percent annual sales growth, however, proves that AutoWallis’ diversified strategy is correct, as despite temporary setbacks, the Group is growing in line with the trend. The company’s country, brand and activity portfolio operates efficiently, and AutoWallis is expanding steadily in a volatile economic environment, despite the cyclical performance of the brands it represents, the CEO added.
