German service sector accelarates
According to the Monday datas of the Statistical Office; The revenues of German companies operating in the service industry, grew by 5.3 percent in the second quarter.
The German service sector produced an increase for the first time since the last quarter of 2008. Revenues grew by 7.8 percent in the area of logistics and transport, while information technology is lagging behind with its 3.1 percent growth.
With the recovery of the sector, the number of employees increased by 4 percent, on an annual basis and 1.1 percent on a quarterly basis – reports Világgazdaság Online.
