They are fans of the Hungarian foie gras at Gulfood
With twenty-three exhibitors, the Agrármarketing Centrum’s community stand will appear on 168 square meters at one of the world’s largest food industry trade fairs, Gulfood in Dubai. The products of the domestic exhibitors include honey, foie gras products, herbal teas, oil seeds, energy drinks, dairy products, and frozen fruits and vegetables. Several Hungarian companies entered the “Innovation Awards” competition for the best innovative products, among them Royalpaté Kft.’s “Halal” truffle foie gras preparation was selected as one of the aspirants in the best meat and poultry product category. Gulfood is an important meeting place for businesses targeting Middle Eastern markets.
Gulfood closed a record year in 2023, as more than five thousand exhibitors from 125 countries presented their products to nearly 140 thousand professional visitors. So many people have never come to the event before, so the organizers hope that this year they are also worthy of the title of the world’s largest food trade exhibition. Dubai has been an important commercial meeting place for years, as it covers the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region from Africa to India. For businesses aspiring to the region, Gulfood is the gateway through which they can conquer the Middle East market.
This time, the exhibitors were placed in eight thematic sectors, namely: dairy products, beverages, fats and oils, healthy wellness and free products, cereals and legumes, meat and poultry, popular brands, and world foods. The health, wellness and free products sector has recently been launched, which indicates the development of the market. This year, the organizers decided to remove the confectionery product category from the product list, which will be presented at the ISM Middle East exhibition in the future.
