Auchan can expect a serious punishment in Russia

Retailers have accused the French-owned chain of stores, with violating several rules, when started to sale own branded vodka on the market.

The Krepost branded Auchan vodka is advertised by the slogan ’the best balance between price and quality’ which according to the authorities may mislead consumers. Between the Auchan and the Russian authorities the relationship is strained. In May, Moscow authorities have banned the marketing of alcoholic beverages in the supermarket chains of Auchan – reports Pénzcentrum.hu.
