Rail Cargo Hungaria: outstanding increase in grain transportation traffic

Rail Cargo Hungaria Zrt.’s (RCH) grain turnover to Italy exceeded the volume of the same period last year by a record 50 percent in the first five months of the year – the company told MTI on Wednesday.

According to their statement, the special situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic also played a role in the increase in traffic, which hindered road transport and diverted traffic to rail by making it impossible for certain destinations in Italy. (MTI)
