Raiffeisen: household consumption may increase next year
Positive news: after seven meager quarters, domestic consumption could expanded – emphasized Kovács Mátyás (Raiffeisen) to Tőzsdeforum adding, that due to the personal tax changes of January, they calculate with an increase in household consumption for the next year. Although it must be expected, that the majority of the additional revenue will be saved or spent on loan repayments.
Hungary's gross domestic product in this year's third quarter increased by 1.7 percent both calendary effect adjusted and without adjusting, compared to the same period of the last year.
Raiffeisen calculates with 1 percent GDP growth for this and 2.5-3 percent for next year –reports tozsdeforum.hu.
