The Slovak authorities found the presence of the pathogen in three cattle stocks, a bear, a Csillizáradi and a Baka farm. dr. Szabolcs Pásztor, the national chief veterinarian, immediately ordered the necessary regulatory measures in cross -border restriction areas. Existing domestic restrictions remain in place to prevent the disease from spreading.

Tickling mouth and nail pain is an extremely infectious viral disease that is mainly affected by carcasses (for example: cattle, pork, sheep, goat, buffalo, wild ruminants)

The main symptoms of the disease include fever, loss of appetite, salivation and appearance of blisters in the mouth and leg ends. Human mouth and nail pain is very rarely spread to humans, but due to its extremely high contagious ability and rapid spread in livestock, its appearance has serious economic consequences. Infected animals cannot be treated, so if the disease is strengthened in a farm for even one animal, all double -fingered horns must be eliminated. Most importantly, the holder of all species that are susceptible to the disease should be increased to comply with epidemic protection regulations. Immediately report the strict official measures ordered their animals to their veterinarian!
