Tourist developments along the Rába coast were inaugurated in Körmend
It is hoped that the number of water hikers on the Rába will increase, thanks to the new tourism developments, since the goal is to get as many of the Hungarians who do very little sports as possible to start exercising, said Máriusz Révész on Tuesday in Körmend.
The State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office responsible for active Hungary spoke at the handover of the tourism and sports investments realized on the banks of the Rába River. “There is a big problem”, the serious consequences of which include the fact that the average age of Hungarians is 5.6 years behind the European Union average, he said.
The state secretary also spoke about the fact that, according to a World Health Organization (WHO) survey, the health care system affects health by 18 percent, while lifestyle affects health by 37 percent.
