PwC: fringe benefits became more expensive
According to the PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting firm; the fringe benefits became more expensive this year,. From the 1st of January, the 10 percent health care contribution should be paid after them and although the compensation elements have been expanded, due to the crisis it is difficult to make use of the new opportunities.
Horváthné Szabó Beáta, the Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), told that the real burden of fringe benefits is 30.94 percent. The employer has to pay the 10 percent personal income tax and the 16 percent health care contribution after a 1.19 to 1.19 tax base – reports MTI.
