PwC: almost half of the Hungarian managers would increase manpower
Compared to the last year, the proportion of those managers in Hungary increased significantly by 45 percent who expect an increase in the number of the the staff of their companies and only one tenth of the respondents predicted a decline – the international survey of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) shows. The survey was sent to MTI on Thursday.
The PwC interviewed more than 1,300 Chief Executives in 68 countries. From Hungary 150 CEOs participated in the survey.
According to the overall results 45 percent of respondents plans a significant staff expansion this year, due to the improvement in growth prospects. The companies in the Middle East (71 percent), South-East Asia (54 percent) and China (53 percent) plan the largest staff increase over the next one year, including the business-services (51 percent), insurance (49 percent) and technology sectors (46 percent).
