Putin extended the Russian food embargo by the end of 2020
Russian President Vladimir Putin extended the embargo on food imports to countries with sanctions against Russia, including the European Union Member States, by the end of next year.
The measure allows sealed transit of Russian-stricken products, followed by the GLONASS Russian satellite navigation system. The regulation allows articles that are subject to sanctions to be brought by individuals for personal consumption. (Pogár Demeter, MTI)
