During the long weekend, Balatoni Hajózási Zrt. (Bahart) awaits passengers on expanded routes and in several ports compared to the spring season, and scheduled boats will also operate from all 16 Balaton ports on Whit Sunday and Monday, the shipping company’s website informs.

In addition to the 12 existing boat stations, four more – Alsóörs, Balatonalmád, Balatonszemes and Keszthely – will open their doors.

The Balaton ferry runs every half hour, more frequently in case of heavy traffic. The ferry services run from Szántód between 7:00 and 22:00, and from Tihany from 7:15 to 22:15. The journey time is 8 minutes.
