Procter & Gamble: greenfield investment in Gyöngyös

Procter & Gamble (P&G), increases its presence in Hungary. The company has a 175 years of history and has market-leading brands in its portfolio such as Ariel ®, Lenor ®, Pampers ®, Pantene ®, or Head & Shoulders ®.

The company starts an about 85 million USD worth greenfield investment in Gyöngyös Hungary. At the plant Pampers diapers will be manufactured. The investment in Gyöngyös is related to the company's international production system. The products manufactured in Gyöngyös will be available in addition to the Hungarian market in some EU countries, in Central and Eastern Europe, and in countries of the Middle East and Africa. The investment will create 150 new jobs.
