Baumit Kft. received the Pro Urbe award
The energetically and aesthetically renewed Nipl Stefánia Swimming Pool in Dorog was handed over on Friday. At the handover ceremony, Baumit Kft. also received an award: the mayor of Dorog presented the Pro Urbe Award to the managing director, Judit Járomi. The special award of the City of Dorog can be won by those persons or organizations who support the city with their significant, value-creating and donating activities.
The Nipl Stefánia Swimming Pool in Dorog opened its doors to those wishing to swim in 2007. Over the past decade and a half, maintenance and minor renovations have been carried out on the building several times, and in 2023 the comprehensive modernization began. The building complex, handed over today, was renovated both energetically and aesthetically inside and out: among other things, the insulation was replaced, the street front facade was completely renovated, and a solar panel was installed on the roof structure. By using the Baumit Star thermal insulation system, a truly spectacular, modern facade was created, which proudly wears the colors of Baumit PuraTop as colored thin plaster, which also enables the use of special, intense shades on the facade. In the renovation of the water blocks, the products of the Baumit Baumacol cold cladding gluing system were used.
Baumit Kft. helped with the renovation of the swimming pool with a product offer worth more than twenty million forints. In recognition of its help and donations going back many years, the Dorog municipality voted the Pro Urbe award to Baumit Kft. In his speech, Mayor János Tittmann highlighted the company’s value-creating and donating activities in local government investments and cityscape developments.
