Primark: interest remains high, but no decision on new store openings
Primark opened its first store in Hungary last May to huge interest, and it has since become one of the favorite fast fashion destinations for domestic customers.
On the opening day, snaking lines signaled that the Irish fashion chain had arrived in Hungary – and since then, demand has grown mainly for children’s and women’s clothing.
Speaking to Világgazdaság, a company representative said: they are constantly monitoring customer needs, but there is currently no official decision on when a new Primark store could open in our country.
According to the company, the success experienced in the Hungarian market is encouraging, but expansion plans are preceded by careful preparation, and they cannot provide information on the timing of future store openings for now.
