The Downtown Beer Festival is promoting premium beers
Hundred thousand hectoliters more, ie 10 percent more premium beer was consumed in Hungary in 2016, compared to the previous year.
The quality brews are becoming increasingly popular around the world, and the domestic beer market also responds: newer and newer producers are expanding their range of premium or super premium beers. The Downtown Beer Festival (Belvárosi Sörfesztivál) launches a campaign for the quality brews with the aim of catching up the domestic beer culture to the international trends.
