A precision milk production laboratory was built in Kaposvár
A so-called precision milk production laboratory featuring the most modern technical solutions for cow husbandry was built on the Kaposvár campus of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), the higher education institution informed MTI on Thursday.
In their press release, they wrote: as part of the 1.3 billion HUF project of the dairy company MATE and Fino-Food Kft., in the 341 million HUF facility, the animals can “rest on waterbed mattresses” and “satisfy their biological needs stress-free, according to their own biorhythms” with minimal human intervention. .
The laboratory simultaneously helps promote the agricultural field, provide practical training for specialists, and produce the healthiest food possible – they noted, adding that the husbandry and milking system greatly helps in making decisions related to animal husbandry.
