Praktiker: turnover doubled from LED bulbs and lamps
The lighting supply was thoroughly reshuffled with the appearance of affordable energy-saving light bulbs. The demand moved towards LED lights – according to Praktiker. The modern energy awareness, not only protects the environment, but is also cheaper.
Praktiker is selling about 2,000 different lamps in its 19 domestic stores and webshops, thus becoming a market leader in the lighting market. Praktiker's experience has shown that the demand for LED lamps has doubled compared to last year, pushing back the demand for halogens. The demand has shifted towards the middle and higher-priced products.
