Praktiker: these are the products Hungarian customers stock up on
Based on Praktiker’s national data, with the end of the overhead reduction, the turnover of heating-related products, including solid-fuel alternative heating devices, as well as their ancillary products, began to increase rapidly and has continued ever since. Compared to the same period of the previous year, five times more people bought plate fireplaces and three times more tile fireplaces in the July-September period of this year.

As early as July, the Hungarians start bracing themselves for the cold
By the end of summer, the demand for additional electrical heating devices has also increased, and many people also buy insulating materials in order to increase energy efficiency. According to the expert, the alternative heating device is also a good solution, but even with a few smart home practices, we can significantly reduce the utility bill.
The amendment to the utility reduction came to light in July, to which the population reacted almost immediately, already in the summer heat: the demand for alternative heating solutions and related additional products quickly increased – according to the national analysis of the Praktiker department store chain. Based on the data, most people are looking for plate and tile fireplaces, as well as heating materials (mostly wood, to a lesser extent coal). In July-September, the sales of metal fireplaces increased fivefold compared to the same period of the previous year, and the demand for tiled fireplaces increased threefold. The turnover of additional products and chimneys for fireplaces also increased to a similar extent.
