Praktiker: declining turnover, improving results

According to the quarterly flash report of the Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte Holding AG; Praktiker has increased its results, despite declining turnover. The company could increase its revenue on the domestic market.

The Praktiker Gruppe increased its operating result by 5.7 million euros, to 40.0 million euros, compared to the same period of the previous year. However, the sales revenue decreased by 5.9 percent to 911.1 million euros. The company's stringent cost-cutting program and operating improvement could counterweigh the negative impact of sales decline – reports MTI.
