Szekszárd is preparing a cooperation with a Portuguese wine city
The local government of Szekszárd is preparing a cooperation with Viseu, a Portuguese wine-growing town. According to the commercial manager of the Portuguese Embassy, it can bring new markets to the Hungarian wine.
Ács Rezső (Fidesz-KDNP), Mayor of Szekszárd and Maria José Morais Pires, Portugal's ambassador in Budapest held discussion over cooperation opportunities on Wednesday in Szekszárd.
Viseu (45 thousand inhabitants) is sizuated in the central part of Portugal. The town is the center of the 20 thousand hectare Dao wine region. (MTI)
