Politicians against shopping on Sunday
„Give Sunday back to the people!” – said the hungarian Christian Democrat Party.
The party in the opposition wants that the multinational
companies would have a profit less day, it means, not to open the stores. Civil
organizations patronize the ideal, but staff of the food chains not, because of
higher Sundays wages.
According to Hungarian Statistic Institute 4% of hungarian shop
on the last day of week, mostly in super- and hypermarkets, this type of stores
has 9% of weekly income from Sundays shoppers.
