Policy Agenda: improving SME sector expectations
The expectations of the Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprise sector continued to improve in the second quarter, however the leaders of the companies still not expect a significant change in the next six months – shows the second-quarter results of the OTP SME Economic Index, made by the Policy Agenda.
According to the survey, the current value of the OTP SME Economic Index is 43.4 percent, which is still far below the level of a year ago, when the index was 50.4 percent.
According to the Policy Agenda, the prospects of SMEs are improving in a small extent, and it seems that the sector was able to put the pessimism of last year’s end behind. If this trend continues, development and investments will again be in the fore. (MTI)
