Tesco is using AI technology to expand its range of healthy, convenient snacks and meals at more prominent points in its stores.

The retail giant’s trial in 30 of its highest-footfall Express convenience stores will use insights from Dunnhumby. Shelves that had previously stocked high-fat, high-salt or high-sugar (HFSS) products – before legislation banned them from aisle ends, checkout areas and entrances in October 2022 – will be used to highlight healthier food-to-go items.//
