The Hungarian agriculture does not expect any good
The Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI) communicates scary numbers of last year’s agricultural performance. The sector is in nadir, and according to predictions, this will not change too much this year.
According to the datas of AKI, the output of the industry and farmers’ salaries also reduced. The real income of full-time workers doing agricultural activities, decreased by 35.6, the net salaries of entrepreneurs decreased by 43 percent. Compared to 2008; the output of agricultural products decreased by 11, total output of the sector decreased by 19 percent, producer prices overall decreased by 9 percent, the processing rates declined by 7 percent and the sector contributed 37 percent smaller proportion to the GDP – reports szabadfold.hu.
