PM has agreed with EU finance ministers on tax exemptions for home-made pálinka
Tax exemptions on home-made pálinka were again discussed at a meeting of the European Union’s finance ministers in Brussels – Finance Minister Varga Mihály said after the meeting, according to a briefing by the ministry on Friday.
The minister said that most EU countries support the adoption of the new directive, which would allow fifty liters of fruit spirits per household per year to be produced without paying excise duty, but no decision has yet been taken without the full agreement of the member states. (MTI)
