Mall Stop: The chains may already have the building permit
It is rumored that the large supermarket chains have their building permits for years, despite the parliament adopted the law on mall stop.
Apparently, the government and the large retail chains are playing a cat and mouse game. While the government seems to trying to divert the large companies under central control, the large companies dominating the retail market – especially the German-owned discount stores – are looking for ways to find exemptions under the mall stop – reports MTI.
