The chocolate bunny of Lindt received court protection
The marathon trial ended with the victory of Swiss Lindt & Sprungli chocolate manufacturer which the company launched in order to protect its Easter chocolate bunnies against Austrian rival.
A Vienna court decided that the Austrian Hauswirth, cannot to manufacture any more chocolate bunnies packed in golden foil. This put a point to the end of the marathon legal battle, started in 2004. The trial was launched by the Swiss Lindt in order to protect its its Easter chocolate bunnies packed with a typical red tape manufactured since 1952 – reports Index, after BBC.
