Pepsi is the leader at the Russian dairy and fruit market
The PepsiCo, has completed the first stage of the privatization of Russia's largest milk and dairy producer, the Wimm-Bill-Dann (WBD), by acquiring the 6 percent of its shares – announced the spokesman of Pepsi.
The transaction is estimated at 3.8 billion dollars. After the acquisition of the 6 percent of the shares, Pepsi-Co owns 77 percent of the shares of the Russian food giant. The company plans to offer to purchase the remaining shares of WBD, for 132 USD per share – reports Világgazdaság Online.
