Just Eat Takeaway is losing market share
Just Eat Takeaway reported a 6% drop in the number of orders placed in the third quarter at 211.1 million, with the decline particularly significant in the US at minus 11%. Total orders of EUR 6.3bn were below analyst expectations, reflecting an industry-wide trend of consumers rethinking their spending. The platform is currently looking to enter new markets such as food, pharmaceuticals and wellness.
