Faith in ourselves instead of pessimism
Herman Verstraeten, the new CEO of Unilever Central Europe is back in the region after seven years in Russia. He sees tremendous progress compared to the situation seven years ago. Unilever business models are adapted to local conditions in different markets, but the global strategy is expansion and this includes the central European region. As Herman Verstraeten is quite new in this position, he has been glad to attend the conference organised by Trade Magazin, to become more familiar with this market. He is encouraging market players to have faith in themselves, instead of looking pessimistically into the future.
