Cash registers – NGM: the NAV gives a 30 day grace period
Merchants will be given a thirty-day grace period to purchase the proper online cash registers. Between 1 and 30 September, the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) only checks that did the merchants apply for operating code from the tax authorities.
Pankucsi Zoltán, Deputy Minister of State at the Ministry of National Economy (NGM), responsible for tax affairs told on Monday morning, that the deadline for the transition is still 31 August. This affects 70 percent of the merchants – mainly retailers and restaurants. (MTI)
