PENNY strengthens its wallet mascot with a selection of hams

PENNY is committed to giving priority to domestic suppliers. The chain offers 21 types of ham this year, of which 16 products come from domestic suppliers, including the popular Dárdás private label. In the case of another popular dish on the Easter table, smoked ham, the domestic proportion is also significant: almost half of the offer comes from Hungarian suppliers.

In addition, only Hungarian eggs are available in PENNY stores, an indispensable companion of ham, and horseradish is available in the private-label Czifra range in classic grated, mayonnaise and spicy versions. This period is of particular importance for the category, as nearly half of the annual table horseradish turnover is realized at this time.

The chain of stores is counting on increased demand this year as well, so it is preparing for the Easter period with even larger quantities than last year. There will be a 12% higher volume of ham products available, so everyone can find their favorite for the holiday table.
