We loved our bellies during Christmas the most. At least we can draw the conclusions on the basis of the December 2014 traffic datas of Global Payments global market leader card acceptor.
The company arrived to the Hungarian market in 2014. The company's customer base covering the entire spectrum of the trade and service sector so we can map the Hungraians’ Advent shopping habits on the basis of the card payments.
On the basis of statistical data of the Global Payments POS provider in December 2014, Hungarians spent the most on food (16.32% of the total purchase), on clothing (15.31%) on restaurants (10.61%) so Hungarians spent 26.93% of their entire December spendings on food and nutrition.
