Balaton Piknik starts on Friday
In addition to the performances of international artists and Hungarian bands, during the day you can discover the city’s well-known and hidden attractions, restaurants and cafes, but also markets and guided tours await those interested at the Balaton Piknik in Tihany between June 14 and 16.
At the Tihany Piac Plac, in the early afternoon hours, those interested are invited to a classical music concert by the Virtuosos, and in the evening international and Hungarian performers will take the stage – the organizers told MTI.
L’ARTrio was formed from the talent search contestants of the Virtuosos, its members are clarinetist Ali Lugosi, flutist Zsuzsanna Csabay and guitarist Vilmos Oláh. Their repertoire ranges from classical music to tango to baroque and contemporary music.
Among the light music performers will be two well-known performers of the international electronic music scene, the minimalist Jan Blomqvist and the French dj Worakls, who combines classical music with electronic rhythms, among the Hungarian performers on Friday Souveq, Infragandhi, ajsa luna, Sobek & Mulya, Justrice and Secret Factory , and on Saturday Galactic Jackson, Lenny Lenoks, Vojnits Alíz X Monkeyneck, Deva, Chriss Ronson, Metha, Robert Makai & Dubecticut will take the stage.
