Trash supports the economy
Fruits, salads, vegetables and fresh milk – according to a British survey, these foods have the greatest chance to end in the trasher. Nearly half of the people is convinced that with this wasting, they “support the economy.”
City dwellers throw out the most food on average. The main wasters are single men, between 25 and 35. They throw out a monthly average of 17.43 pounds (about 5200 HUF) worth food to the trasher, much more than an average four membered British family throws out (15.70 pounds).
Not less than 40 percent of the surveyed people think, that wasting is even beneficial in economic terms, because the throwing out of food "keeps the production in move." – reports Privatbankar.hu., after MTI.
