Industrial air conditioner manufacturer Airsys is establishing its first European plant in Páty
Airsys, a manufacturer of industrial air conditioners, is establishing its first European assembly unit in Pátyon, and in order to establish this, it has leased an industrial hall of approximately 12,000 square meters operated by INPARK; Airsys plans to increase the value of its investment in the Pest County settlement from the current 2 million euros to 8 million euros over the next three years, the INPARK industrial real estate development group told MTI.
It was announced that Airsys, founded in 1995, is known worldwide for its cooling and air conditioning solutions developed for critical environments – such as industrial and technological facilities. Headquartered in Beijing, it has two major manufacturing bases, with a production area of more than 30,000 square meters, with an annual capacity of 150,000 units.
The development in Páty is a significant step because Airsys has not previously carried out independent manufacturing activities in Hungary, and did not have its own production unit here.
In the plant being built in Páty, AirSys will manufacture temperature control equipment, which it will sell in the European and American markets. The assembly activity will start with 15-20 people, but the number of employees will increase in parallel with the development of the plant.
According to the announcement, INPARK, which is 10 years old this year, has almost 20 projects across the country, which represents a development land portfolio of more than 900 hectares. Last year, the group of companies signed an agreement for the development of 75,000 square meters and is currently building in Debrecen and Miskolc. In the Budapest agglomeration, they are present in Érd and Páty.
The scope of activity of the INPARK industrial real estate development group consists of the construction of manufacturing, logistics and warehouse facilities for Hungarian and international clients. It offers the possibility of renting standard and customized industrial properties, along with a full range of services.
The NIPÜF-INPARK group closed the last two closed business years (2023 and 2024) with annual sales revenue of approximately 10 billion forints and after-tax profit exceeding 2 billion forints. Thanks to the increasing business activity, the group expects significantly increasing sales revenue and profitable operations in 2025 and 2026.
